About Our Business

Griffin Confections is a home-based candy business operating in NC. All of our products are handmade in small batches in a home kitchen environment. While we maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, our products are not produced in a commercial or certified allergen-free facility.

We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. However, due to the handmade nature of our candy, slight variations in color, size, shape, and appearance may occur. Product photos are representative and actual products may differ slightly.

Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify product offerings at any time without notice. Seasonal items are available for limited times only.

Freshness & Shelf Life

Our candy is made fresh in small batches. Each product has its own recommended storage conditions and shelf life, which are provided with your order. For best quality, please follow the storage instructions provided.

Ordering & Pricing

Prices

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include shipping costs or applicable sales tax, which will be calculated at checkout.

Order Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraud. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

Order Modifications

Once an order is placed, modifications may not be possible. Please contact us immediately at help@griffinconfections.com if you need to make changes. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but cannot guarantee changes can be made.

Payment Processing

We use Square, Inc. as our payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to Square's Terms of Service.

Payment Security

Your payment is processed securely through Square's PCI-compliant payment system. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. All payment data is encrypted and handled directly by Square.

Billing

Your payment method will be charged when your order is placed. You will receive an email confirmation with your order details and a receipt from Square.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Method

All orders are shipped via USPS. Tracking information is provided once your order ships.

Shipping Areas

We currently ship within the United States only.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days. During peak seasons (holidays, special events), processing times may be longer. Custom or large orders may require additional time.

Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package size and destination. Occasional local pickup or event pickup may be available.

Delivery Issues

Once shipped, delivery timelines are controlled by USPS. We will assist with claims when possible, but Griffin Confections is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or incorrect addresses provided by customers.

Product Condition During Transit

Glass candy is sturdy but may shift or crack slightly during transit. This does not affect taste or quality. Warm temperatures can cause temporary softening. We recommend bringing packages inside promptly upon delivery.

Weather Considerations

During hot weather, we may adjust our shipping methods or temporarily pause shipping to certain areas to ensure product quality. Please consider weather conditions when ordering.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of handmade food items, all sales are final.

Damaged Products

If your order arrives damaged beyond normal breakage, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos. We will review the situation and determine an appropriate resolution at our discretion.

Order Issues

If you receive the wrong item or your order is incomplete, please contact us immediately at help@griffinconfections.com. We will correct the error at no additional cost to you.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through Square and credited to your original payment method. Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled if production has not yet begun. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Once an order has entered production, it cannot be cancelled.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and product designs, is the property of Griffin Confections and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without our express written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Griffin Confections shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for allergic reactions or adverse effects from consuming our products. Please review all ingredient information and consult with a healthcare provider if you have concerns about food allergies or sensitivities.
